Murray B. Low
Faculty Director, Executive Program in Management

Murray Low is an experienced entrepreneur and a leading authority on entrepreneurship in independent, corporate, and not-for-profit settings. As the founder of the Columbia Entrepreneurship Program, he has worked to make entrepreneurship a viable career option for Master's in Business Administration (MBA) graduates. As the co-director of IE@Columbia, he has worked with faculty, students, and staff across the University to spread innovation and entrepreneurship. He has also led initiatives to improve business education in developing countries, particularly in Africa. Low provides consultations to small and large companies, family businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. He teaches executive seminars in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation and makes frequent presentations to academic and industry groups. He has been published widely in academic and practitioner journals and is a regular commentator in the media. Low is an active advisor, board member, and angel investor.

The Executive Program in Management from Columbia Business School Executive Education is aimed at leadership development and imparting general management skills to address the needs of senior executives. Participants come from diverse backgrounds and different countries with a minimum of 10 years of work experience.

The Executive Program in Management from Columbia Business School Executive Education features one in-class immersion module, three live online modules, and two multi-week online modules.
The Executive Program in Management from Columbia Business School Executive Education is structured around four key pillars — leadership and management, strategy and innovation, Global Business Acumen, and Digital Strategies for business. Participants combine theory with practice by working on a group project to apply their learnings to real-world business challenges guided by the expertise of coach who is a Columbia Business School faculty member.
Applicants to the Executive Program in Management must submit an online application which includes essays based on their professional journey as well as two professional references. The application fees vary by rounds and applying earlier helps your chances of being accepted into the program.
Unlike an Executive MBA, the Executive Program in Management is a certificate program, ideal for more experienced candidates who are interested in taking on leadership roles in their organizations.
